PRINT BASE PAPER

Koehler print base paper are used in the furniture industry all over the world in a wide range of colors, from white, cream, beige, brown, and gray to black, and also for producing flooring, kitchen work surfaces, windowsills and similar. Print base paper has a satin finish and are characterized by being easy to print on and to impregnate, by their dimensional stability, and by their color precision. Our wide range of print base paper is available in a range of weights for LPL, HPL, and CPL applications.

UNI-COLOR PAPER

UNI-color paper is a single-color, color-saturated decor paper for LPL, HPL, and CPL applications. It is either machine-smoothed or has a light satin finish. UNI-color paper exhibits excellent penetration and impregnation properties, which means it complies with the demands of fast-running impregnation machines. We manufacture in a range of colors, from white, cream, beige, brown, and gray to black.

BASE PAPER FOR FOIL PRODUCTION

Known as ‘post-impregnates’, base paper for foil production is suited to many applications, both in single-color versions and with a printed finish. Base paper for foil production is manufactured with a satin finish, usually painted and laid onto various backing materials using dispersion adhesives. Post-impregnates are better for printing on and higher quality than the familiar pre-impregnates, meaning they offer big benefits to converters.

EDGING BASE PAPER

Edging base paper is used for covering small areas of wood, door edges, and soft forming profiles. Edging base paper is produced with a smooth surface on one side to ensure that it can be painted evenly. They can be used in single-color quality, or printed in subsequent processing. After that they are impregnated and laid as a laminate on the backing material. Their exceptional processing properties have helped Koehler edging base paper become world market leader.

REGENERATED PAPER

Koehler regenerated paper is made of recycled fibers. It is particularly suited for use on base and picture edging and is primarily used in nonvisible areas. In further processing, it behaves like edge banding paper.
